love it, really good watercolours.

I really like this, love the style of it.
Its on Ephyse I'll scout first, honestly though, I'd except a scout off him ahead of me.

haitam responds:

Ah thanks ,He already scouted me though ,I deleted an art submission because it was shitty ,that's why there are only three art submissions .

I like the sharp angles of the characters, really like how you did the scarf on the female.
I think the background is well done too, the clouds are nice.

But something just isn't right, I think the characters don't feel apart of the background.
I don't what has happened or is happening, has the man just leaped out of the crows nest and is looking in his telescope mid-fall.
So I'm not sure. But I still think its a nice piece.

This is really nice, love the colours and the strokes.

Just wondering which do you prefer oils or acrylics? I've only ever used acrylics and was just wondering why you'd choose to use them over acrylic.

Great stuff, you have been favorited can't wait to see more.

LilioTheOne responds:

I find oils to be much easier to work with. They don't dry as fast and are easier to blend and the paints themselves are much thicker and easier to apply on the canvas or paper and they don't look thin and washed out like acrylics usually do. I really recommend them, but use the oil thinner with them too (you dont use water with oil paints)

I think you need to look at eyes, look at photos and life for reference, and try again. You talk about the detail, but this lacks them.

Also try not to view things as lines you should look at things as having shadows and highlights.

For a first attempt in photo I think its commendable, As I had difficulty at first, getting used to the program. But as all your submissions seem to be done in photoshop, I fear you have not looked into traditional media. You should start with a pencil and a sketchbook. Also spend time on your drawings, a couple of hours, don't rush things just so they're done.

Keep drawing and Good luck, with your next pieces.

I like it! Really like the style of it.
Oh and I'll scout if you get together another 2 pieces, also you have to check the little box to say they aren't sketches and are for the portal and not a sketch.
Can't wait to see more!

I'm loving that elephant, love to see more done in this style.

Well it looks good, but I don't know if it looks like you.......cause I've never seen you.

wise-irbis responds:

Cool

That is really well done, fair play also I recommended you to the art portal, if you threw up a couple more you'd probs get scouted
